Pastor Georges Dabbo was born Oct. 7, 1963 in Lebanon in an evangelical family, that were actively involved in their church. It was in August 1975 that he received Jesus Christ into his life as his savior. Following the start of the war in Lebanon, he immigrated to France with his family in 1976, where they continued their lives as thousands of Armenians who fled from Lebanon. Established in the city of Valence with his family, he was actively involved in serving God in the Armenian Evangelical Church of Valence, where he received a sudden and specific leading to stop working and to pursue a calling to serve God in pastoral ministry.

Through the encouragement and support of the Union of Armenian Evangelical Churches of France, he was sent to Paris to study theology, at the Bible Institute of Nogent sur Marne and the Faculty of Theology in Vaux sur Seine.

After four years of studies, on September 1, 1989, he was installed as pastor at the Armenian Evangelical Church of St. Antoine in Marseille. In 1988, he married Priscille and God blessed them with three children Henry, Debora and Joshua. On April 18th, 1993 he was ordained as Reverend by the Union of Armenian Evangelical Churches of France. On March 11, 1996 he suffered a car accident where he was taken to the hospital in critical condition and diagnosed with irreversible damage, 17 broken bones, internal bleeding, kidney and lung damage. The doctors were skeptical about his survival and the condition of his body, should he live. However, God had other plans ... After being prepared four times for the operating room, the results of tests showed that surgery was not necessary, God had begun to heal his body. Following a stay of 16 days in the hospital, and three months of recovery at home, he resumed his pastoral duties, without being affected by any after-effects of the accident.

God gave him the grace to steward the growth of the church, to establish the Armenian cultural center Margos Vékilan, and to complete two major construction projects: the expansion and renovation of the existing building and the inauguration of the new sanctuary building of the Armenian Evangelical Church of Saint Antoine on May 4th, 2003. In September of 2003, he moved with his family to Montreal, to serve as the pastor of the First Armenian Evangelical Church of Montreal. Under his spiritual leadership, the church has grown significantly, and countless lives have been impacted by the good news of Jesus Christ. In addition to having a pastoral heart, Reverend Dabbo is also an evangelist and a revivalist. He has traveled to many countries, and continues to accept invitations for evangelism, revival meetings and training sessions, from churches around the world.
